These brogue shoes are inspired by the EMPEROR™ golf shoes, which were released in 1970. The upper is made from domestic leather crafted from world-renowned \"Kobe beef\" hide in Himeji, one of Japan\'s leading leather production areas, using traditional Japanese artisan techniques. THE ONITSUKA strives to maintain the classic beauty of leather shoes while further improving comfort. In particular, we focused on enhancing flexibility and cushioning to achieve a lightweight feel. High-rebound foam is used from the heel to the toe of the midsole, providing effective cushioning and flexibility. The heel height has also been increased by 7mm. The heel portion of the sole is equipped with αGEL Foam to enhance shock absorption. The insole is designed with a combination of foams of different hardness, maintaining cushioning while providing support to reduce arch collapse and heel instability. The outsole uses a rubber sponge that offers both durability and cushioning.
